When we set a goal, we set an intention. When we have expectations, we create resentments. When we are of service to others, we are blessing ourselves. When we let go of our will, we unlock our chains. When we surrender, we learn to fly.
Narrow the scope and lower the bar. Know when good is good enough. My need to produce at unrealistic “ideals” (both quantity and quality) prevents me from recognizing and appreciating a job well done. It’s a lose-lose battle with the goal of liking myself. “Do less so you can ‘be’ more.”

if there were complete understanding, if you had walked in their shoes all their life, every moment, every memory, there would be no anger and no resentments, there would be only empathy.

The universe is offering a key, if I want to learn how to unlock the cage I have to pick up the key and try something different.
It’s a load off my shoulders to not have to know the answer.
